Chess tournament

On February 28, 2019 the regional chess tournament among universities and veterans, dedicated to the Year of Youth was held in the Palace of Sports named after Nurken Abdirov. The tournament was held in a circular system, with a time control of 15 minutes.
The tournament was attended by chess players of KSU, KEU, Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and “chess ardagerleri”.
Our university was represented by 6 students: Yesenbekov Magzhan, (team captain),Abil Aray ,Musin Madi ,Zhazhkanova Zhuldyz ,Abil Zhanas , Akhmetov Zhanaydar.
According to the results of the tournament, 1st place - KSU, KMU took the 2nd place, 3rd place – veterans.
