Innovative approaches to the teaching of the Russian language
From 25 to 26 June 2018 the Russian Language Department conducted a training
seminar "Innovative approaches to the teaching of the Russian language as
a non-native in the conditions of a professionally-oriented educational
environment". During the seminar the following issues were considered:
1. Level approach: current trends in the study of the Russian language as a non-native in secondary and higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The use of case studies in the development of communication skills.
3. Communicative-oriented methods of languages teaching.
4. Assessment and evaluation. Forms of feedback.
The training seminar was conducted by associate professors of the department Zh.S. Akisheva and E.R. Keller-Deditskaya.
During the seminar, interesting discussions on the actual problems of teaching Russian as a non-native language took place. Topics and questions of the seminar aroused great interest and were positively evaluated by the listeners.
