Chernobyl ... 32 years later
Thirty-two years have passed
since the destruction of the fourth power unit at the Chernobyl nuclear power
plant. The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is considered to be
the most severe technogenic catastrophe in the history of mankind. The catastrophe
gave rise to a whole layer of myths and speculations related to the radiation
impact on man and nature, which in turn laid the foundation for radiophobia,
unreasonable fear of radiation. The conversation about the issues of economics,
medicine, ecology and socio-political point of view that took place around the
Chernobyl nuclear power plant included a conversation in the classes 1-007,
1-008, 1-033, 1-034(GM) at the Department of History of Kazakhstan under the
guidance of senior teachers M.T.Aliyeva and B.B.Rysbekova.
