Triumph of KSMU athletes
On 27 May at “Shakhter” Stadium was held a solemn opening of the XV Spartakiad of Health Workers of Karaganda Region.
The Spartakiad program included the competitions in volleyball, track and field athletics, togyzkumalak, table tennis, mini-football, arm-wrestling and tug of war. The competitions took place in the sports halls and on the sports grounds of “Shakhter” Stadium.The competitions in volleyball were held in a sports complex of KSMU.
In the competitions took part 17 teams from Ulytau, Abai, Bukhar-Zhyrau, Karkaraly, Osakarovka, Nura, Shetsk, Aktogay districts and cities of Temirtau, Shakhtinsk, Saran, Zhezkazgan and Karaganda.
In the team competition, the first place was taken by KSMU team;
II placewas taken by Temirtau team;
III placewas taken by “Arlan” team.
