XI Championship
From February to April at the Gym No. 2 were played the games of XI Futsal Championship of KSMU. Ten student teams took part in the tournament: nine of them represented KSMU and one was our traditional guest, the team of Karaganda State Technical University.
The tournament drew attention of a large number of fans. Students actively encouraged their teams. Sports holiday atmosphere reigned at the tribunes.
All teams demonstrated a high level of preparation. The championship games were really interesting and exciting. Suffice it to say, there was squeaky bum time before the winner was determined. The champion of the tournament was revealed in the course of the match of two leading teams “Lodgers 2” (Captain Andrey Bondarev) and “Lodgers 4” (Captain Shakhzod Abdizhabbarov). “Lodgers 2”, by ending up in a draw with “Lodgers 4” (5:5) and leading on points, became the winner of the tournament.

All team players who took prize-winning places were awarded the memorable prizes.
Following the tournament was defined the symbolic team of the championship:
“The Best Goalkeeper” - Shora Erlan (“Lodgers 2”);
“The Best Defender” – Seytzhan Zhanibek (“Lodgers 1”);
“The Best Forward” – Zhunisov Omirkhan (“Lodgers 4”);
“The Best Player” – Tarzhanov Avel (“Lodgers 1”).
In addition, for encouragement of the participants were introduced additional nominations:
“The Most Useful Player” – Rasilkhan Dosymbek (“Dormitory 2”);
“The Most Technical Player” – Kairbekov Azat (“Dormitory 3”);
“The Finding of the Tournament” – Tairakhunov Daulet (“Lodgers 4”).
The best players of all teams were also awarded the valuable prizes.
