Karaganda State Medical University opens a Medical College that provides training in 8 specialties.

1. Specialty 0301000 General Medicine

- qualification of “Medical assistant”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 3 years 10 months, on the basis of general secondary education – 2 years 10 months.

2. Specialty 0302000 Nursing care

- qualification of “Medical nurse”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 3 years 10 months, on the basis of general secondary education – 2 years 10 months;

- qualification of “Junior nurse”; normative period of training on the basis of general secondary education – 10 months.

3. Specialty 0303000 Hygiene and Epidemiology

- qualification of “Hygienist-epidemiologist”; normative period of training on the basis of general secondary education – 2 years 10 months.

4. Specialty 0304000 Dentistry

- qualification of “Dentist”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 3 years 10 month, on the basis of general secondary education – 2 years 10 months.

- qualification of “Dental assistant”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 2 years 10 months, on the basis of general secondary education – 1 year 10 months.

5. Specialty 0305000 Laboratory Diagnostics

- qualification of “Medical laboratorian”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 3 years 10 months, on the basis of general secondary education – 2 years 10 months.

6. Specialty 0306000 Pharmacy,

- qualification of “Pharmacist”; normative period of training on the basis of general secondary education – 2 years 10 months.

7. Specialty 0307000 Prosthetic Dentistry

- qualification of “Dental technician”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 2 years 10 months, on the basis of general secondary education – 1 year 10 months.

8.Specialty 0308000 Medical Optician

- qualification of “Medical optician”; normative period of training on the basis of basic secondary education – 2 years 10 months, on the basis of general secondary education – 1 year 10 months.

The enrollment is to be for 2017-2018 academic year.
