A contest for participation in International Winter School “German customs in Kazakhstan and Germany”, arranged by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) together with the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, is open.

International Winter School includes:

-  Intensive German courses within 5 days;

-  Seminars on different topics related to the customs and traditions in Germany and meeting with the representatives of German diaspora in Kazakhstan.

International Winter School provides:

-  Partial coverage of travel expenses;

-  Free accommodation at the dormitory of KazNU;

-  Free lunch, free entertainment program;

In order to submit an application for participation in International Winter School, it is necessary to provide:

-  Autobiography in German with e-mail address and telephone number (if you are a representative of German diaspora, please note it);

-  Essay in German or Russian on topic “Multinational country: challenges and perspectives” (1 page of A4 format, Times New Roman 12, single spacing);

-  Current OnDaF certificate (in case of absence, a certificate of Goethe Institute or corresponding actual certificates are allowed).

Conditions:

-  Students of all specialties speaking German (A2 level);

-  Deadline November 11, 2016 on e-mail: info@daad.kz;

-  Application must consist of single PDF document;

-  Each student will be informed on contest results via e-mail.
