The following disciplines are taught for undergraduates of the university: History and Philosophy of Science, Technology Master's research, Methodology of scientific research, Scientific letter, Fundamentals of the methodology of teaching in medicine, Fundamentals of the methodology of scientific research in medicine. The main research area of research is the study of the biochemical mechanisms of the development of pathological processes. According to the results of scientific studies, 5 monographs were published, more than 300 publications, including in publications included in the indexing databases Scopus, Clarivate Analytic, etc. Pre-patents and innovative patents, certificates of registration of intellectual property were obtained. Employees of the department made scientific presentations at international conferences in Russia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Georgia and Turkey.
