The mission of the educational program

Training of highly qualified specialists who are able to satisfy the needs of society in providing medical care to patients with otorhinolaryngological profile, to apply and develop advanced innovative technologies in medicine, science and practice, to use the achievements of information and communication technologies, to strengthen the health of the population. Specialists should be ready to adapt to the changing conditions of the health system at the level of the state and the world community, continue training throughout life, and contribute to the development of society

Competencies of the graduate

Clinical skills: to provide the effective patient-centered care based an evidence-based medicine that includes appropriate and effective interventions to treat and prevent disease.

Communications: to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills leading to effective exchange of information and collaboration with patients, their families and healthcare professionals, including the use of information technology.

Professionalism: to demonstrate a commitment to professional responsibilities, the respect of ethical principles and to use the best practices for providing a high level of safety and quality of care

Regulatory knowledge: to understand the responsibility for their actions within the framework of the current regulatory foundations of the health-care system   and be guided by them in their practice to ensure optimal health care.

Research: to be able to research and evaluate the treatment outcomes for his patients, to evaluate and implement the treatment principles based on scientific evidence

Personal and professional development: to demonstrate the qualities necessary to support continuous personal and professional development, the continuous improvement of patient care through continuous self-assessment and lifelong learning.
