In order to encourage scientists who have contributed to the development of science, as well as to stimulate young scientists, NCJSC “Karaganda Medical University” announces an intra-university Contest “The Best Researcher of the NJSC “Karaganda Medical University” 2023”, timed to the Day of Workers of Science and dedicated to the 125th anniversary of academician K.I. Satpayev.

Full-time employees of NCJSC “KMU” who are actively involved in science are invited to participate. 2 prizes are awarded within the framework of the Contest:

1) 1 prize in the nomination “The Best Scientist” – in the amount of 100 MCI;

2) 1 prize in the nomination “The Best Young Scientist” – in the amount of 50 MCI.

Young scientists include employees under the age of 40 years (inclusive). The same applicant can not be nominated for the award in more than one nomination. The prize is awarded to the person with the highest number of points in one nomination according to the indicators of evaluation of scientific achievements (Annex 1 to the Regulations).

To participate in the Contest, applicants submit the following documents:

1) Application form for participation in the Contest for the awarding of the prize (according to the form in F NCJSC KMU 6/3-01);

2) Information in accordance with the indicators of evaluation of scientific achievements of the applicant for the award (according to the table in MS Excel);

3) Supporting materials and documents for each selected criterion in the Information on scientific achievements;

4) A reference from the Department of Human Resources Management of NCJSC “KMU”;

5) A copy of the identity document.

The documents for participation in the Contest are accepted by corporate email of the specialist of the Department of Scientific Work Aleshina@kgmu.kz until March 21, 2024 (inclusive).

The scientific achievements of the applicant for the award will be evaluated according to the following indicators:

1) availability of an academic degree and academic title;

2) scientific work with students;

3) training of personnel who have been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a doctor in the profile, or a master's degree;

4) management of scientific projects and programs, as well as participation in them;

5) availability and quality of scientific results (articles in peer-reviewed journals, monographs and/or chapters in monographs, patents, methodological recommendations and copyright certificates);

6) confirmed results of scientific and scientific and technical activities for their implementation.

All indicators are taken into account for the 2023 calendar year.

The winners of the contests “The Best Researcher” and “The Best University Teacher” of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019-2023 cannot participate in this Contest.
