Since 2020, the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Anti-corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been implementing the project “ҚазақстанРеспубликасыденсаулықсақтауминистрлігініңадалдықалаңы”. One of the main directions of the project is to involve the entire medical and educational society in the anti-corruption movement by creating an atmosphere of zero tolerance for any manifestations of corruption.

There is an opinion that it is allowed to give gifts in the amount of not more than 2 MCI. In fact, this indicator is a distinction in responsibility. This applies to state employees and equated to them heads of budget organizations. For teachers and doctors who are civil employees, this indicator should not exceed 5 MCI. But in this case, responsibility comes - an administrative penalty from the head. If the gift is more expensive than 5 MCI, then the liability under the article “receiving illegal remuneration” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan is threatened.
